Food parcels are often the immediate response to those who find themselves struggling financially for various reasons.
Approximately 400 foodparcels are packed and delivered each year by individuals who volunteer their time to prepare and deliver parcels, operate the telephone, collect foodstuffs from participating retailers, and grow and harvest vegetables.
Budget Support & Mentoring
The Foodbank can work alongside the local Budget Service who support people to manage their finances. There is a local branch, located at the Katikati Community Centre on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Budgeting Appointments MUST BE MADE by contacting the Tauranga Budget Advisory Service.
